Theology: Mary Wollstonecraft on Gender - Context and Information Sheet

(0)
These clear and engaging revision sheets are indented for independent study or to aid revision for the key scholar Mary Wollstonecraft in the topic of Gender. Each sheet is downloaded as an A3 Word document and an A4 PDF, for compatibility. I felt it was important to make these sheets as my students sometimes misunderstood the context of the philosophers or the chronology of the arguments (and responses). Therefore, these context sheets aim to tackle these misconceptions and re-examine the theory and/or philosopher within the context in which they should be viewed. A sample context sheet can be found here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/a-level-anselm-and-ontological-argument-context-and-information-sheet-12316408 Additional topics and/or philosophers can be found in my Tes shop! Please give feedback! I am always happy to respond to comments - whether positive or constructive - this will help to improve the quality of my resources in the future and, more importantly, the quality of pupils’ RE/RS education in general - which is what we’re all here for!

GCSE Religious Studies Key Concept Words and Vocabulary Game: Caption It

(0)
A fun and reflective way to revise key concept words and vocabulary for GCSE Religious Studies. Images show contentious issues and pupils need to list key terminology that the pictures bring to mind, explaining why. Even better if they can create sentences or 'Captions'. Can be played individually or as part of a team. Can be reflective or competitive.

WJEC Religious Studies Spec B Revision Flip Book Keyring All Units

A quick and easy resource to make and carry around! You will need to purchase some keyrings from somewhere like Amazon. They usually don't cost more than a couple of pounds for a hundred or so. Failing that, you could always staple them, or hole-punch them and tie them together with a treasury tag. There is a double-sided revision card for each unit, featuring key concept words, definitions and key themes and ideas from that topic.

Religious Expression Religious Studies Revision Game GCSE Cards For Humanity

This unit revises Religious Expression from Paper 2: Religion and Human Experience for WJEC Spec B. My take on 'Cards Against Humanity' - Cards FOR Humanity revises Religious Studies GCSE (WJEC) through a fun, competitive and interactive card game. Each game required three or more players to play. Rules are the same as the original game: - 7 white cards each at all times - players rotate the person who ask the question on the black card - asker chooses the winning answer - winner keeps the black card - pick up of new white cards for the players who spent a card on that round - asker rotates - winner is the player with the most black cards (correct answers) at the end of the game :) A classroom favourite of my pupils :) highly competitive!
